Course Structure and Outline
There is no particular order in which students should proceed through their studies. Each student must pass 65 units, to be eligible for the award of the “Diploma of Theological Studies”.

Each subject consists of two components: the core, which involves course work to be completed prior to an examination in order to pass the unit, and an optional research assignment. The core of each subject is worth 4 units, and the assignment is worth 1 unit. All subjects then, may be taken as either 4 or 5 unit subjects.

Some of the subjects are considered essential, and these have become the Compulsory Subjects. Students must complete all the Compulsory Subjects to be able to graduate. Students are expected to complete between 4 and 5 elective subjects to complete the required 65 units.

Duration of Course

If the student takes an average of 2-3 subjects each semester at 5 unit level for each subject, the Diploma may be completed in 3 years part-time study.

The College expects that students who are approved for admission to the College will complete the subjects required in order to attain the “Diploma of Theological Studies”.
