The
amenities at St Athanasius Coptic Orthodox College are fast
growing. Being on the site of the Diocese Headquarters, there
are many amenities, and at present include the following:
An Orthodox bookshop, which carries a wide, range of books
both in English and Arabic.
An extensive library with a collection of over 5,300 volumes.
The library has a coin-operated photocopier. There is a
quiet study area and another area equipped with computers
providing access to Internet and library via Bibleo Tech
software
Lecture rooms plus multi-purpose halls for multi-purpose
use.
A church for worship and the celebration of Divine Liturgy,
which can accommodate 200 people.
Outdoors facilities, which include well kept gardens and
an open areas spanning over 22 acres, which are available
to students for tranquil times for reflection or study.
An extensive computer network with access to the Internet
for research purpose.
A large kitchen with tea & coffee making facilities.
A number of rooms for retreat. Students can book these
facilities, by arrangement, for the purpose of study or
spiritual retreat.
Public transport makes the College accessible for those
who do not drive.
Ample parking spots are available. However in the Christian
spirit we expect students to follow the signage on site
and to keep the interest of others in mind when parking
or driving off.
